Our Mission:
This web site will be used to keep our members up to date on special events, membership meeting
dates, and times. Hopefully, updates from activities of our standing committees. If you have something of interest you would
like to share with other members, and have it posted on our website, please contact Lee.
This site will not be a rumor mill, nor will we give our opinions on what is before us in day to day happenings.

"I Am The U.A.W." This new, interactive Web site invites UAW members, friends, family and supporters to submit
their own stories, pictures, podcasts and videos for consideration.
Attention: With all the layoffs happening, it has left a lot of the membership in arrears with their dues. A few things you
must keep in mind. You cannot be issued a withdrawl Card, you cannot vote in any election, contract agreement, or closure
agreement and you cannot be elected into any position of the Local if you are not a member in good standing!
The company still remains adamant about not paying its employees their previously earned, and rightfully owed, vacation pay
for 2008. But rest assured, we WILL be going to arbitration over it!

The membership meeting location has been changed to the Mitchell Public Library on Manning street in Hillsdale.
